Organised by the IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation, the purpose of the Forum is to share with IUCN members and partners the main activities of the Centre as well as consult on the 2013-2016 IUCN Programme in an effort to deliver a relevant programme that promotes wider cooperation in the Mediterranean.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity to prepare for an effective North African participation in the next World Conservation Congress to be held in Jeju, South Korea, from 6 to 15 September 2012.
